Theater Amsterdam

In May 2014 Theater Amsterdam opened its doors with the officially authorised theatrical play based on the original writings of Anne Frank, “ANNE” to global rave reviews.

Imagine Nation created and built Theater Amsterdam, including an innovative 1,100 seat auditorium with sets revolving around the auditorium, in a record time of 9 months. Huge curved screens surround the auditorium and offer the opportunity for the 180 degree projection of compelling video content. This makes Theater Amsterdam a venue that is not only used for the staging of theatrical plays and musicals, but also for corporate events, congresses and movie premieres.

Theater Amsterdam therefor is a unique venue in the centre of Amsterdam and on top offers a large foyer, a 150 seat restaurant on a floating floor and two floors of backstage and offices facilities.

On April 1^st 2017, the IHI StageAround Tokyo theater opened its doors with the premiere of “Seven Souls in the Skull Castle”. Kasuki Nakashima’s acclaimed Samurai drama has since continued to sell out the 1,350 seat auditorium. Imagine Nation, commissioned by Tokyo Broadcasting System Television, developed and produced the StageAround auditorium.
